I am a Morris High School graduate. I graduated in 2006. After high school I received my Associates Degree from OSU- IT and went on to Northeastern State University to study Education. I graduated from NSU with my Bachelors Degree in 2013, and have been teaching ever since!

I have participated in many workshops and professional development seminars throughout my career.
This is my first year at Grove Lower Elementary, and I love it. I have taught previously for Tulsa Public Schools for Kendall-Whittier Elementary. I started out teaching 5th grade, and moved grade levels to teach 1st. This is my third year teaching 1st grade. I love teaching reading and math!
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Mark Skiles. We have been married now for 8 years. He is a fireman for Bentonville Fire Department. We have 2 children. Emmett is 5 years old, and in Kindergarten. Maggie is 3 and will be starting school soon. We live on Spavinaw Creek, and love spending family time outside.
We have 2 very large dogs. Thor is a Siberian Husky. He loves to run when the weather starts to cool down. Daisy is a Great Dane, and tries to cuddle in our lap.
