I attended NSU to receive degrees in Elementary Education and Administration.
Current Position:
Hi, my name is Kelly Trumbull and I am the principal at the Lower Elementary. I am one of a few employees who have never worked in any other school district. I began my teaching career in Grove as a first grade teacher. Since then I have taught gifted and talented classes, science block classes, and third grade all at the Lower Elementary.
After I received my administrative certification I worked in the district office for a few years where I wore many hats. These hats include curriculum coordinator, textbook coordinator, and gifted and talented coordinator. My classroom experience paired with the district responsibilities came in handy when I was hired as a building principal in 2010.
The Lower Elementary faculty, staff, and students are outstanding. Please feel free to stop by to see some of the amazing things that happen here!
Family Information:
I am married to Ed Trumbull, MS science teacher. We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. They make me happy!
Personal Information:
A few of my favorite things include my family, my angel friends, boating, swimming, skiing, shopping, treasure hunting, and reading!
